Santa Monica

Oh, how I love the ocean! It's so nice to be back in beautiful Southern California when you can go to the beach during the fall and still experience a gorgeous day!

Brian and I decided one Saturday to head to Santa Monica beach to have a nice picnic lunch. We packed up a cooler with food and found a spot on the sand to enjoy. It was so pretty there!

The wind was crazy as you can see! My hair looks wild!

We saw these beautiful flowers that I just loved! This picture was taken on my iPhone, which I think did a pretty good job!

Brian wanted to take a picture of me with the pretty flowers!

After our lunch we decided to walk on the Santa Monica pier. It was so cool to go there. Here's Brian and I from the pier with a view of the waves. It did get a little chilly with all that wind blowing.

As we were walking along we decided we needed to participate in what the pier has to offer.

Yes, we went on the Ferris Wheel, which I think is funny because we are both a little afraid of heights! It was fun when we weren't holding on for dear life.

This is what we saw as we walked away from the beach back to the car. It was such a fun afternoon experiencing something new together!
