I CAN be crafty sometimes!

Hey there readers. Yes, I'm super late on posting again...so sue me! :) Lots has been happening, so I need to fill everyone in. Before I do that, I wanted to do a quick post on a sewing project that I recently took on.

One of my closest friends Angela is expecting (actually due on Oct. 5th, so really, any day now) and for her baby shower I decided that I wanted to make her baby something. She is having a little boy and I'm so excited for her and her husband Pat. With the help of an awesome co-worker of mine (who did way more that I did) I made Angela's baby a quilt. Here are some pictures of the finished product (I took the pictures on my bed; sorry if it's too much color). I would have taken some pics of the process but most of it was done in one day, so there are no progress pics.

I decided to go with a green theme because baby boys usually always get blue stuff and I'm more a fan of green. Was that selfish of me??

Here's Angela and I at her shower with the quilt. I'm mad she's covering up her bump! She looks so good prego! It was such a fun thing to make and I hope her little guy likes it!

So there you have it! I do have some sort of creativity in me!
