3 of My Favorite Things...Brian, Family, and San Diego

Okay, 4 of my favorite things...July is my favorite month mainly because my birthday. I love my birthday! It was lucky that it was my month to go to California. I arrived Wednesday, a day after my birthday for a long weekend. Brian planned a special celebration. We made dinner together...crusted chicken salad, but it was really good.
Here I am with my spread :) Brian got a piece of cheesecake for us to share. I love cheesecake!

My card played music and here I am dancing along. Ha ha. I look dorky. For some reason Brian has chosen "Super Freak" as our song and so of course that was the song my card played. Such a romantic song, huh? On to the presents!

Here I am with some yummy chocolate covered strawberries. I loved them. They even said Happy Birthday on them.

Now, I'm opening some new earrings. They are beautiful, silver, dangling ones and I love them. Brian has good taste in jewelry.

Now I'm opening up the "big" box. I wonder what it is??

It's a great shirt that Brian had made for me. I love it! Isn't he cleaver?

The next morning Brian made smoothies for breakfast. He recently got a blender and wanted to impress me with his smoothie skills. He even tried to replicate my favorite South Pacific Squeeze from Robeks in California. It was pretty close and as you can see I loved it. After breakfast we headed to San Diego.
Friday Brian and I went to the San Diego Zoo with Erin and her girls Ashlyn and Madelyn. We had so much fun!

Finally a picture of Brian and you can't even see his face. ha ha. Don't worry, there are more to come.

Me with a monkey in the background.

Me with Ashlyn and Madelyn on a polar bear. I love these girls. They are so cute and so much fun.

Here we are with a Koala Bear. Do you like Brian's outfit? I bought it for him, and I love the colors.

There was a cheetah that was there for some sort of private presentation, but we got a sneak peak. I love cheetahs! They are my favorite animal and they are only usually at the Wild Animal Park. It was quite a treat and it made me so happy!

On the way out, I made Brian stick his head in the cut out. So funny! There were way more pictures of the animals that Brian took, but I didn't think we needed to see them all.
Saturday we headed to the beach, because what is San Diego without the beach? We went to La Jolla and basked in the sun. We even played in the water. It was so great! I love San Diego.

I look so nasty in this picture...sorry!

Saturday night we celebrated my birthday with my family, who we got to spend a lot of time with. Instead of having a birthday cake I wanted to go to my favorite dessert place in San Diego...Extraordinary Desserts!

I took this in the car on the way there.

Here's a picture of the Taylor kids. Both Courtney and Noah decided to come home since I was going to be home. I was so excited for them to meet Brian and we had fun being together.

Here are the pictures of all our yummy desserts. If this doesn't make you want to go there, I don't know what will... Sadly, I don't remember the names of them all, so there will be no commentary.

Everything was super good. We all sampled each others. That's the fun of each person getting something different.
See? Brian really enjoyed his.

Brian and I outside the restaurant afterwards.

Sunday we had to say our goodbyes. It was so great to see my bro and sis. We had fun!

Brian and I went to church before taking me to the airport in Los Angeles, so here's a picture of us in our church clothes. I'm making a funny face, but I really like the picture.

Ok, first off I TOTALLY thought that was Courtneys new boyfriend or something, and then I read it was Noah! Holy cow! He is huge! Secondly, I want so bad to meet Brian! Im so glad that he treats you so well, and gets you sweet shirts with his intitails and impresses you with his "smooth" smoothie skills :) I love it
