I'm here, I'm here!

Ha ha. So by here, I mean California, and technically I've been here for like almost 3 weeks! I decided to make the big move to the Los Angeles area to be with Brian. It was a big move, but Brian and I couldn't be more thrilled to hang out everyday! We took lots of pictures of my last weekend in Salt Lake and the move to LA.

My last day of work was bittersweet. I became really attached to the people I worked with and it was hard for me to leave them. Being the great co-workers that they are, they threw me a little goodbye party.

Here's Brian and I walking into the break room to see the surprise.

My co-workers ordered a cake from Costco. It was so cute and said "BB Wins!". There was also a card that everyone signed. Like I said, it was hard to leave, and I definitely miss everyone!

This is Brian and I watching our 1st Cowboy game together. We have matching Tony Romo jerseys. Sadly, the Cowboys lost, but we enjoyed watching the game together.

We made dinner with whatever food I had left. It wasn't too bad. We had teriyaki chicken, rice, and mixed veggies. I was on the phone with my sister in this. :)

MOVING DAY!

Don't we look happy? I think so!

Here are pictures of Brian and I with the Uhaul. I reserved a 14 foot truck and ended up with a 17 foot one because they didn't have any 14's in stock. It worked out. This is the truck filled with all my stuff.

Once we were loaded, we went back to Uhaul to get the auto transport for my car so we could pull it. When I was deciding how I was going to transport all of my belongings, Uhaul told me that they would assist with the auto transport, but they actually didn't at all and said they couldn't for legal reasons. They explained what we needed to do, but made us handle it. Poor Brian had to do a lot of crawling. I drove the car on the transport, but then couldn't get out of the car. If you can see, there's not much space to open the door. I had to crawl out of the window and then my skinny Brian was able to get in and then out of the car.
Can you see Brian in my car?
This was me giving a big thumbs down to Uhaul!
Here's me with the Uhaul and my car attached. Can you believe we are driving this the whole way?? It was a little freaky for me, but it was time to get on the road.

We stopped for dinner in Nephi at a place called J.C. Mickelson's. It was good, but there was this great railroad that ran through the restaurant. Brian loved it and here are some pictures.

We stayed the night in St. George (thanks to my awesome co-workers) and then started the next day again. Here's the sign welcoming us to Arizona.

Brian really liked the mountains in Arizona, so I took lots of pictures for him.

Then, we made it Nevada.

Here's the big thermometer in Baker, CA. Thankfully it wasn't super hot.

As soon as we could, I made Brian stop so we could have In-N-Out for lunch. I have desperately missed it and am so glad to have it close again.

We finally made it to LA safe, but exhausted. When we got to Brian's place, he had a present for me. I love presents.

I got a set of keys! Yay! This is so I can hang out at Brian's whenever I want. Ha ha.

I moved into an apartment just 3 miles from Brian, but I am at his place quite a bit. We put my couch and dining set at Brian's, and he has internet and a huge TV (hence why I'm there a lot).

Stay tuned. I've got a huge post coming...MEET THE PARENTS!!! :)

Quite the move! You rented a Uhaul, that's grown up stuff! I'm happy that you're settled in California, and so close to Brian :) Hows the job hunting going?
