Where has the time GONE?

So, I know it's been a long time since I've updated you all on my life, but that is not what the title of this post is all about. I'm talking years now...

(Be wary...I'm going to get all emotional and sappy now)

Saturday was a very special day for me, one that I like to celebrate. It was my baptism day. It may seem silly to celebrate, but it is such a wonderful day that I get to look back on and remember the choice that I made to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I wish that I had a scanned copy of a picture from that day to show you all how I've aged, although it's probably good that I don't. :) I spent part of Saturday at Temple Square walking around and going to the Visitor's Center. It was such a great day full of contemplation and gratitude for all that I've been blessed with, and boy have I been blessed these last few months. The last couple of years were extremely difficult for me and my faith was truly tried, but Saturday helped me finally feel as I'm moving in the right direction and making some progress.

I am so thankful for my membership in the Lord's TRUE church. I'm grateful for all that I have learned, and endured these last 11 years and can't wait to keep progressing. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and the blessings I've received are proof of that. I'm grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and His sacrifice in my behalf. I'm grateful to have the Restored Gospel on this Earth and for living prophets that we get to listen to this weekend. I'm grateful for Joseph Smith and for his great faith to bring the Gospel back to the Earth. I'm grateful for the Book of Mormon and the principles that it teaches to help me be a better person. I love this church for the person it is helping me to become.

Anyway, I just wanted you all (my loyal ;) readers) to know how grateful I am to you. Many of you have been around since the beginning (11 years ago), and other who've become friends along the way and I am so thankful for your wonderful examples and friendships. You truly mean so much to me.

I am so proud of you. Yesterday, my visiting teachers and I were talking about young single adults and how easily they fall through the cracks. I thought about you and how you have been so faithful and strong. Then today, I read your beautiful testimony. I love and miss you.
