I'll address the weather part first:
The weather hasn't been too bad (although I haven't had to deal with it all winter and everyone else is pretty sick of it). There were a couple of storms for the first week that I was here and then we had had a really warm weekend (like high 30s, low 40s) and I was starting to think that things weatherwise were really great. Of course I spoke too soon; today was kind of scary. It started really snowing this afternoon sometime between like 1 and 2 and it boy did it stick fast. I didn't even know it was coming. I thought it was going to snow tomorrow. I'm clueless! As I started to drive home around 5, the roads were pretty bad and because the snow was blowing hard sideways it made it difficult to see. Thankfully, I did make it home safely, so that's good. Hopefully this isn't a long storm and will be over soon.
As for the settling part:
So, I moved out here with no furniture because it was going to be really expensive to move and I thought I could just get something once I got here. Now, that meant not having a bed to sleep on, but lucky for me the girls I moved in with had an extra mattress. So, I'm sleeping on the floor on a mattress and living out of a suitcase, but it's only temporary so I'm doing ok. The place I moved into is nice, it reminds me a lot of the housing out in Provo, not so much like the apartment I lived in in Carmel Valley. I do have a big bedroom, walk-in closet, and private bath, which I love! I have great roommates who I really enjoy spending time with, but there is a sad part to all this. I only moved in for the month of February because the girls who were already in the apt made plans for March and the lease will be up. Good news is that I found a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apt in the same complex. I am living in Holladay in a really social area with 3 singles wards that meet together for all activities besides Sunday meetings (although we all meet together once a month for church), so it's great. It's definitely something I need! I also have a friend from Provo who lives out here so that's an extra bonus.

Also, I got a job! 6 days after moving I was offered an accounting job with a mortgage company located just a few miles from my apartment. I started last week so I've really only been there a few days, but I really like it and I work with some really nice people. I'm making more than I though I would out here, which is also really cool. Anyway, things are really coming together here and I am so excited for things in the future! Heavenly Father really knew what He was doing when He promped me to move here, eventhough I was full of negativity and doubt at first (I was excited a few weeks later). I have some sort of confirmation everyday that this is where I need to be and this is what I need to do and learn (whatever it may be).
Anyway, just wanted to share with all my readers (wait do I have any?) what I've been up to. Here are a few lovely pictures of snow for you to look at while you enjoy the sunshine!
This is from my bedroom window. The fence is for the tennis court which is, you know, covered in snow.
Here is picture of some more snow! Lovely, isn't it? Too bad I can't really enjoy it (via skiing/snowboarding)! Oh well, it is really serene looking when it's untouched.
Also, sorry for any misspelled words, but the spellcheck was just taking too long :)

I'm most certainly a reader of yours and glad to know things are going so great! Congrats on finding a job so quickly and for making more than you thought--added bonus! I posted some new pictures of the boys on our blog, you'll have to check it out:) Keep us updated on how things are going!
Hey Jen! I didn't know you were planning on moving out to Utah! I'll miss running into you at random events but it sounds like you're where you're supposed to be. We'll be there for general conference weekend to bless the baby (Collin and I are both blessing our kids the same evening) so you're more than welcome to come if you're around- it's always good to see you!
Yay! I am so glad you posted and glad things are turning out so well for you. How did you do in the latest storm? I heard it was crazy. We mis you!
We are reading! And wondering how you're doing! Glad things are going well, you sound happy!
