Trip to Dallas

So, it's been a long time since I've updated my blog and I'm ashamed. I promise to be better. I've got lots to catch up on, so here were go:

The first weekend in November I went to visit my sister in Dallas where she lives with her boyfriend Dave. This was my first trip to Texas and I had a great time. Here are some pictures from my trip

Here's my rental car. I had a red Jetta and I decided that they are overrated. So many people had them in Utah and I don't understand the fuss.

This is a picture of downtown Dallas as I drive in. I drove around downtown for a couple of hours. It's a really nice city. I was also surprised at how many trees there were in Dallas. It's very green.




This is Texas Stadium where my Dallas Cowboys play! I accidentally took the wrong exit and ended up there, but it was great because I really wanted to see it!

GO COWBOYS! Beat the Giants!

Here's Courtney and I. She took me to Billy Bob's, "The World's Largest Honky Tonk!" It was a huge Cowboy bar. I had a great time and it was fun to experience.



Also, while in Texas, Courtney's boyfriend Dave got tickets to the big Nascar race that weekend. Now, I'm not a Nascar fan, but it was an experience that I just couldn't pass up. Here are some pictures from the race!

After the race, we went to this bar to watch the Cowboys plan the Eagles. It was a great game! We won and it was so fun to be amongst other Cowboy fans! It was such a fun trip.
